2nd day in Genève

On Tuesday morning we met at school at 9:30.

We saw a film about Essential Tech. In that film we could see that many of the medical equipments donated to Africa are not used there for many reasons. Sometimes they work for a while and stop working and nobody was there to fix them, also sometimes they don't have electricity, or as they have a different temperature, equipment is not working properly. So, sometimes donations turn into a problem because they have to throw them, they called them the White Elephant (very big and useless). It was very shocking for us because we didn't expect that donations could turn into a problem.

In Tuesday afternoon we had a guided visit of Genèva. We saw the Jet d'eau, the cathedral, old town... it was very nice to see the city.
